Transfer to Denver Roller Derby!
Thanks for your interest in transferring to our league! We recommend that you come visit us before you decide to become a full member.
As a visiting skater, you can attend any League Practice or Scrimmage before deciding to transfer. It’s just $10 per visit (with a max of 5 visits before we’ll ask you to formalize and join us!). Learn more about visiting before you make a final decision here!
Please fill out a visitor waiver form at the first practice you visit/attend as this will be used until your insurance has been transferred. The waiver is good for 30 days.
Below you will find a checklist of things that are time sensitive that need to be done before you can skate.
Denver Roller Derby Transfer Checklist:
Have a member of your previous league fill out the reference form or send an email to join@denverrollerderby.org
Pay induction fee ($35.00) and first month dues ($60.00).
As a transfer skater from another WFTDA league, you will need to request that your previous league submit a transfer request on your behalf on the WFTDA Member Portal.
Fill out the Denver Roller Derby Membership/Affiliation form.

Quarterly requirements:
General requirements for league members are as follows. Depending on the team(s) you join, there may be requirements in addition to the following:
2 Credits of Committee Participation per quarter
1 Activity credit per quarter
1 Game volunteer credit per quarter
Monthly requirements:
Dues are $60 per month and skaters are billed by invoice via your Denver Roller Derby email.
Dues paid after the 10th (tenth) day of the month are considered late and a $10 late fee will be applied to your balance.
**Membership is subject to cancellation for non-payment of dues.
***Membership is also subject to denial by the Board under certain circumstances. Please see our Our Anti-Harassment Policy at the bottom of our League Policies Page for more details.

Once you’ve joined, you will be allowed to attend league , endurance, and assessment prep practices. You may also attend assessments, which will clear you to join our weekly co-ed scrimmages once our basic requirements are met for attending.
